What happens to your personal data and your medical records?
- In the context of our mainly medical actions, your privacy and data security have been given our highest priority. We always handle your personal data according to the strict regulations concerning medical data in the German data security law (BDSG).

We never reveal or sell data to others and strictly use them for acclaimed purposes you have given consent to. Even within COMPASS, data can only be accessed by medical personnel or specifically bound members of staff.

If you authorized us to pass on specific data as part of our services, this will only be done by doctors under medical confidentiality who carefully analyze what data to pass on.

After expiration of the contract, data concerning specific case management will be recorded and stored securely for 20 years according to German law. Medical records that have not been used will be erased.

We will not return any originals. So please use copies if you send any medical records, which we will scan and archive.

Our customers´ data are secured by most modern, complex and professional hardware solutions that allow access only for authorized doctors with mobile equipment from every corner of the world. You give your written consent for this mobile access with sending us your documents.

During your membership, you can always release our doctors from their medical confidentiality towards certain people such as family. You also have the opportunity to have us store ready-made bilingual (German/English) letters of consent in case our doctors need to communicate to others in an emergency. In addition, there are certain other documents such as warrants that can be ordered ready-made from us and only need to be signed.
